Loved the review. I didn't realize how much drinking they did until you mentioned it.. I'm thrilled that the Show didn't drag out the 'clueless Sam' story line. I did feel sorry for Cas being duped into tell Sam the truth.. I could be wrong but I know of no Catholic college that requires uniforms. I think that was a writer's fantasy. I agree,I thought Ackles did a good job with the full body comedy..____

I was so hoping when Balthazar mentioned patricide JDM would show up.. I just don't believe for a minute that they can't work around his schedule.. And I also didn't believe Dean would be able to be 'death' for a day.. Is it January yet???
I loved this episode. I also felt the show paid homage to the X Files. I would have loved for Mitch Pileggi to have been in that one.. The brothers actually talking to each other was a lovely treat. Dean's refusing to sit on Sam's sex bed and possibly 'servicing King Oberon' ,masterful..

I happen to like Bobby. Of course I would have liked it better if they hadn't killed John,but oh well.__ I did find some of the episode a bit contrived (Rufus not knowing how to dispose of a body),other parts a found amusing (Bobby and the cobbler). I did like Bobby's rant to the boys about their whinning.. It was a good episode for Jensen to direct, there wasn't too much for Dean to to(it's hard to be in two places at the same time) and I'm guessing Jared felt ,hell if there's not alot of Dean how about some down time for Sam too.. These guys have been carrying the show for 5+ years.____
I agree with you in regards to the angels.. let's keep it simple,I have no idea 'who's on first..' A shirtless Sam is always appreciated. And yes there is no way Sam would have to 'pay for it'..The bed scene
made me nervous,I was so afraid something awful was going to happen to Lisa or Dean..
I'm in it for the long haul as well. You're right about Sam's time in the cage,just how long was it? But however long I think Sam has 'changed' who wouldn't be, so Pod Sam does make sense. And Dean not leaving with Sam also made sense,he may not love Lisa,but his insticnt to protect them is what's driving him. I have a bad feeling about Grandpa Campbell,he seems to have a hidden agenda. I hope he isn't possessed.. I really want a good Gramps.
I'm glad no one really died, I like MB. I don't think we'll be seeing as much of him next year(don't cheer too loudly) and maybe some of Castiel too. Where do I send my donation to bring back Jeffrey Dean Morgan?? I want JDM back also. And for God to use him as his meat suit would be awesome. I'm not sure it's only Sam that is there at the end.. Guess time will tell.
Thanks for recap.. I thought the episode was a little flat.. I expected to see Matt Frewer,Pestilence.. I'm at a loss as to what we'll see in the final two episodes. Guess only time will tell.
Sylvia, I love your reviews.. This was an awesome episode.. MB being "like a dad" to the boys, always bothered me as well. I love the character,but the Show seemed to negate JW. No one could replace him, but I think Dean in his need for family,needed someone to rely on.. Dean may feel a stronger relationship to Bobby than Sam does.
As for our need to see Dean get beat up from time to time, I think it's because we'd like to do it especially when he berates himself.
I hope the remander of the season continues to provide riviting episodes..
