well lucky for me I have a pseudo facebook page that I use for rpg's, so i guess that is what i will be using here. I have my regular account shut down to people until i friend them but my name is not private. I do not have a common last name & by having it here, it would only lead to issues as I am one of the only people in the state with my first & last name combo......oh well, fake facebook account here I come to see you again!!!
I understand why KCRG is doing this, but I don't have to like it. I am not comfortable posting on a forum where my name and potentially a link to my fb will be. Many posters do hide behind their screen name and say absolutely ridiculous things. But those of us that do have valid points that may not be viewed as "PC" or mainstream will feel like we do in every day conversation & not speak up because of fear of repurcussions. KCRG.....you need to at least make sure people cannot go to another persons FB page directly from this forum in order to protect identities. Also, posters, if you are going to post something make sure your FB is completely locked down......I don't like this move KCRG.
because the intent to commit murder had to be proved against him. It is ridiculous but that is our judicial system. The burden of proof rests on the prosecution and if they don't think they can prove the intent was to kill, they go for willful injury. Dumb this guy deserves the chair........

who cares what a neighbor wants in their line of sight. The fact that there is energy, other than foreign oil, on its way to their neck of the woods should make them happy and almost breath a sigh of relief.
maybe if cr still had their chopper going, for this kind of thing only, there wouldn't be the kind of danger. The chopper can follow and the idiots will think they are home free. Too bad, i hear that the helicopter is just sitting in its hanger collecting dust! Anyone have any statistics about how many big chases there were during the time the helicopter was in use. It seems to me that over the years, the chases are getting more frequent

This was a terrible tragedy. However, I would hope that the man that had the horses in the parade had insurance on them to cover something such as this. I don't know if he could have that kind of insurance but if you can insure a cow that gets loose from a farm and stands in front of a car, I would think you could insure the horses.
Now also, the city should have some kind of insurance to cover a tragedy like this. I wouldn't think they could have a parade and not have it insured.
As for the parents of the kids hurt, i couldn't imagine what they are going through. I just think they need to seriously consider the ramifications of what this lawsuit will do to both them and the man they are suing.
Mardell Steines - my heart goes out to him as well. He has to carry the weight of his wife's death and injury to many people because of something that tragically went wrong.
Wasn't there something about there being kids lighting firecrackers near the horses that day? Why not add them to the lawsuit too.....
