The untold reason for the toe one is that it also prevents you from whacking the babies head on the underside of a doorknob. Not that I have ever done that.... since the first time.

The two pieces of advice I have found to be useful to all parents is
1. have a changing station on EVERY floor the baby might be on. You don't want to have to go up or down the stairs every diaper
2. as silly as it sounds, learn to pick up stuff with your toes. The baby will drop so much stuff, blankets, pacifiers, toys, and not having to bend over will save your back so much. Especially, when its now fun game, and they drop it 23 times in a row.

I love the Bible Math parts. 4 fingers vs 5 fingers vs blah! So much fun. And yes to the slightly different versions. There are still a couple that don't include female pronouns so people fight over the male chauvinist versions.
