He also wrote Basic Instinct and Flashdance. Not oscar worthy but interesting. It wasn't like Mel (Der Fuhrer as Sasha Baron Cohen called him) Gibson didn't know what he was getting with this guy. I think that he is still baiting the Jews with this project.
My grandfather was born left handed. They forced him to write right handed, to throw a ball right handed and to do most everything right handed. He still was left handed and died left handed. There is no debate "Whether homosexuality is fixed or changeable remains an open question." No it isn't. Baby, they were born that way.
