Lori, in my experience stands for herself, not any patriarch. She stands for her own ideals, standards and principles.

Mostly she stands for her daughter, and the ability to raise her in an environment where the culture is not a detriment to her mental sanity.

Mike,

No conservative is trying to stop that conversation from happening. As a matter of fact, that very conversation took place every day prior to this awful regulation. The problem is this administration using tax dollars to force this conversation on people who might otherwise not want it.

As to the AMA, they hardly represent the entire physician base and represent a very left leaning group. I am not delusional ... although another two years of this administration and wingnuts like you forcing me to do things I don't want to do (and making me pay for it) might get me there.

Yes, yes dcase ... you simply said. However, any link however subtle of radical islam to a true peaceful religion like Mormonism is ridiculous, period.

It's awful nice you know how I think. I know, I know ... us conservatives are so troglodytic. We only think black and white ... whatever.

I don't care whether these radicals are mainstream or the ideas of conversion or death are mainstream or not. They exist, they are wrong, they cannot be tolerated and if pissing off muslims through freedom of speech brings that to a head, then I say good.

It lets them know that we will not let them set the rules. It is our country and we have freedom of speech and this is freedom of speech. They can go to another country if they don't like it.

I personally don't care to be sensitive. If standing for the 1st amendment makes me a douch bag, then fill me up and let me cleanse.

Why is it OK for O'Conner to piss of Catholics but not for us to piss off muslims? I'm a douche? Look in the mirror.

Just like dcase you make silly comparisons. Sinead Oconnor rips up a picture of the Pope knowing that nothing will come of it but coversation. There is no group of radical christians that will attack her on the spot. Unlike islam, where there are millons of muslims who will attack you on the spot if you draw a picture of their prophet and pedophile in chief.

Your argument is paper thin and smacks of cowardism.
