I know it wasn't asked for, but it would be nice if the new system didn't have a thumbs up/down option. Recently there seems to have been an influx of users who post the most generic drivel in an attempt to increase their thumbs up count and therefore increase their rep.

imo it creates an atmosphere where you have to be ready to back any claim you make that isn't the general consensus without being negged/thumbed down to oblivion. Also it would get rid of the juvenile "I love Barca, give me a thumbs up" sort of argument and it would help the comment section to be used for its intended purposes.

I remember Pep's blog and I have faith that this place can eclipse that, in the 09/10 preseason there were plenty of new fans there as well and it still managed to run efficiently. It is my opinion that the reason this was so was that no one gained rep for a thumbs up, they were just there to voice their opinion.

Hey guys, do the mature thing and don't feed the trolls. Starting arguments with them only gives them the attention they're craving, be the better person

This won't mean much as trolls can always create fake facebook accounts. The only way to truly regulate and eliminate trolls is to do just that. A new system won't really fix the problems there currently are, just make them go through different paths to continue what they do

Sanchez and Afellay have shown some promise there. As good as Iniesta is on the ball, being forward takes his ability to come in as he pleases and therefore should remain in the midfield.

Javi isn't worth 40m, his buyout clause is. Athletic don't want to sell so they won't bother negotiating with anyone. That's why his price is set at 40m, because the only way he'll leave is through a clause in his contract.
