How is this surprising when one considers that fact that the Post Office feels they have to use taxpayer dollars to advertise that you can actually ship packages at the Post Office?

It's truly a sad, sad day when the greatest threat to the existence of this once-proud organization is the possibility that black people might end up being viewed and treated as if they're just like anyone else.

I've always found it somewhat ironic that many progressives (this isn't a "black thing" - being black doesn't make you loony, but being progressive on the other hand.....) insist that the ancient Egyptians were black....which means that THEY enslaved the Hebrews....and then they had the nerve to sing "Let My People Go"? Now THAT is chuzzpah. I'm just sayin'... OK - I'll sit down and wait to be called a racist now.

For those of us on the right - let's see if we can refrain from name-calling and snarky comments. Afterall, we're not progressives (OK - that was hypocritical). To those of you on the left, rather than attacking the straw man, is there a valid response? One can remain true to progressive ideals AND condemn the lack of moral outrage from our elected officials. Remember - they are POLITICIANS and aren't necessarily given to ideals. If you are TRULY a progressive, libertarian, conservative (i.e., NOT a "Republican," "Democrat," Shark, Jet, whatever...), then your first loyalty must be to your PRINCIPLES and not to your clique.
