Give them a few years after everyone starts doing that, and the scanners will be able to determine your identity from the shape of your face underneath the burka, too. It's not too hard.

Though, you're fine with the cameras on every street corner and building wall and everything else?

That was weird -- I always thought Gizmodo was subtly Apple biased. No so much in what they say about Apple, but what they say about other phones -- their review of the Droid X tore it a new asshole, and it's not that bad of a phone.

You're not making any sense:

1) the Droid X will have 2.2 on it in a month or so (as if 99% of purchasers will even care)

2) if you want SenseUI buy an HTC Sense phone -- HTC Sense is NOT open and never has been. It is proprietary HTC tech -- it has nothing to do specifically with Android, as HTC also has Sense layers that run on Windows Mobile.

Once again, people like you sit and spout off about the things you don't like about "Android," when 9 times out of 10 what you're bitching about is specific to individual companies like Motorola or HTC.

It's getting tiring having to constantly show fools the light.

The openness of Android (software) has absolutely nothing to do with the hardware that Motorola picked for the Droid X.

As for the other stuff, just pick one that suits you -- feel free to get an Android phone with whatever size screen and specifications you want.

Android has absolutely nothing to do with the hardware that Motorola chose to go into the Droid X -- what are you talking about?

Your Treo 755p is more than likely a Verizon "world phone" -- one with compatible GSM circuits, so the phone can be used in the rest of the world.

95% of Verizon's phones _aren't_ like that, including the Droid X.

I'd rather not deal with a 2GB data cap, sorry.

Japan still has the death penalty, and actively uses it.

You've still got a point, though.

The only difference that I can think of is that the Droid Incredible has 8GB onboard memory. Other than that, regardless of the little things, the Desire, Incredible, and Nexus One are practically the same.
