Is the Catholic population to b likened to 'Mushrooms', yet again kept in the dark and fed on 'smelly stuff' by the
IRA ? This really is like some ex Iron Curtain Socialist state, where people are led by the nose by the dictatorship.
In this case Sinn Fein. We all know Gerry and Martin were (and are ?) top Provos. Otherwise how are they the most feared people in Sinn Fein ??
We all know they were involved in murder and crime against the Catholic people, as well as everybody else.
Stop treating people as utter fools and making him out a saviour. Or are we in N Korea, Great Leader ??

Isn't it wonderful to see Cardinal Brady come out on morality issues. Just a pity he didn't have the morality to accept responsibility for his efforts in shielding child abusers from the law.
Never mind, he now has two new invisible magic friends, as of yesterday, who he can consult for guidance.
Oops, didn't one of them cover up for church abuse before he died. Oops again !! Didn't the recently retired pope do the same. I'm confused on this morality thing. Who else is ??
Being gay is not my thing, but as long as it is optional then it doesn't really hurt me. But the church has historically felt free to hurt (to death) anyone who doesn't agree with their way of thinking.
Go count the candles and leave decent people, of whatever sexuality, to get on with the realities of getting through life.

Society would be greatly enhanced if only ALL KILLERS, of whatever affiliation would do the decent thing &
KILL THEMSELVES. Save a lot of heartache for the decent people.

I thought Religious Charities getting tooo much power & involvement are what got Eire, and its people into sooo much trouble.
The church is now concentrating on 2nd & 3rd world countries, with less supervision from state institutions, less educated people who will interfere less with what THE Church thinks is Right. By 'Right', I mean the Church doing what the hell it likes. AS USUAL.
If only there really was a God to help 'Save the little Children'. Not 'Suffer them to come onto (me) The Church.

Catholic parents submitted their children to the control of the Church. The state submitted to the Church.
They all knew what the Church was like.
You STILL send your children into the care of the Church. WHY ??????

Get real. His job is to preach what Christianity teaches. IT'S HIS JOB !!!
It could be worse. He could be an RC priest saying one thing and promoting another.
It only matters if you believe the story of a big alien in the sky anyway.
