If every person in the US would educate themselves about organ donation and sign up to be an organ donor not only with DMV but also notify family members, put it in their living notarized will, and have a copy in their medical records there wouldn't be the wait list or amount of people dying while waiting either. I don't get a rats a## what they do with my body after I'm dead and if I can help someone even after death then why the heck not!

Having watching those close to me die wafting for an organ, I honestly believe that we should be use any and every viable organ that meets the high criteria set by the transplant teams that harvest the organs and then transplant them into waiting member of society.
Should a productive member of society such as a doctor, teacher, lawyer, etc die because some people are against the whole letting a man with a death penalty do something positive with their waste of a life before their six feet under in a pine box? I think not.
It is also very hard to find out the identity of the person that donated their organs to you, does it really matter who that person was or what they did for a living? Would you refuse a liver of a stripper but accept one from a nun? Or take an eye from a farmer but not from a pedophile? My point is people die every single day in this country waiting for an organ transplant.

This kinda reminds me of that story in Texas where the daycare provider left the babies she was supposed to be watching alone while she went shopping, came home to discover that the house was on fire and then after those poor precious angels died she fled the country. What's wrong with people these days?? There's a reason why I pay my mom to watch my son on the days I can't work from home. I can't imagine what those poor parents must be going through right now.

She posted on facebook about how she needed a new "piece" to smoke her medical pot, lost her vaporizer, computer and pants BEFORE mentioning that two of her kids died in the fire and the other one was seriously burned. What kind of mom is more worried about her bong etc then losing her kids, I wouldn't even be on facebook let alone posting S**t like that.

Like I said in an earlier post I used to date a SWAT team member and they are trained to handle high stress and extremly tense situations. They never go out on a call thinking, "Oh, goodie maybe I'll get to shoot someone today." If you had someone pointing a gun at you that to your knowledge is loaded and tell them to drop the weapon and get down and they either don't drop the weapon or keep walking towards you, then woud you rather your family get a phone call letting them know you'd been killed in the line of duty because its policy to start with non lethal methods to try and subdue an armed suspect or go home un harmed and get to hear how your kids day went at school?? While it's sad that someone died, it's comon sense that if you approch anyone in law enforcement or a SWAT team member, you better be ok with the results.

I dated a SWAT team member for awhile, and they are trained to shoot to eliminate the threat. In a lot of these situations unfortunatly the only choice they have is to shoot and if someone is pointing a weapon at you or one of your fellow coworkers and your attemts to talk with them rationally haven't been sucesfull then sadly this is their only choice. I just love how the shooting the other day where the 2 officers were injured had a completely different responce from everyone then one where the armed and mental ill man pointed a weapon at an officer. I'm sorry but if you point a weapon at a cop you can expect to be shot.

I for one know that I'd not only feel the need to replace my shower curtains and bath poof, I'd also need a few bottles of disinfecting bathroom cleanser to clean my shower top to botttom before I could bathe my son or take a shower myself. Who knows what else he used or touched in there ick. What a foul person.

When my son was two, I was working in the dining room, I went to throw something away. When I walked back into the living room I heard my son crying and as I went to check on him I happened to look at the front door, to my shock he was standing on the other side of the screen door. When I opened the screen door I could see someone at the end of our driveway waving at me, (we have a really long drive way) my mom just happens to work with my next door neighbor and a few weeks later our neighbor told her that when she was on the way to the store she noticed Max standing in the bike lane watching the cars go by. She jumped out of her car and directed him back down the driveway and onto the porch. She was the person that waved at me; I put a latch on the screen door up really high so that he wouldn't do that again. We're very lucky that she found him, because I wouldn't have had any idea as to where to look for him, and we live on a busy street so he could have been hit by a car or even worse abducted. It only took him a minute to escape and make it out to the street..
