Off topic, however, because of the picture, I need to express a disappointment in the Tudor TV series. I think the series isgreat, informative, relatively accurate and entertaining, yet I am frustrated with the Hollywood type appearance of Henry VIII. Very much depressed after the death of JaneSeymour and his tortorous leg wound, he fell into a life of comfort food. His athletic image drastically changed. He became very full in face and body to the the point that by the time of his death a pulley system was used to assist his body weight in bed. In the TV series we are left to believe that Henry maintained dark ( not reddish) hair, sixpack abs, and youthful energy throughout reign. Even his wives were far better looking on air than in reality, except maybe number two. Frustration lies in the choice of casting agents and make-up artists not being historically accurate as possible.

Non-fiction writer of the Tudor era, Allison Weir, recently made her first attempt at historical fiction with, "Innocent Traitor". It is the story of the nine day queen, Lady Jane Grey. The entire text was based on historical "truths" apart from single sentence. Try it....it could well be deserving of an award.

Lambert put on great performance. I can not comment on what I didn't see or without any knowledge of what may have been edited under TV directives. Many people in other posts have argued though, that what was televised should have been edited. The objection was with sexuality.
If female artists can raise the bar on seduction, then there is no reason why males can not exploit the same. The issue of Lambert being gay is irrelevant in contemprary society. Lambert is a recognized potential star. That may be why he was on AMA instead of the American Idol winner.
