The show was definitely not live...We also live in Scotia and when they were showing scenes around here, I couldn't believe it...my heart was pounding...I ran upstairs and changed my clothes, my husband straightened up by our front door...while we had a feeling it wasn't live, we were hoping and said a few prayers...they were so close!! Alas, the other family won...we drove down to their house within a few minutes and all was quiet (It is a small village and it was easy enough to find the house)...some of the scenes that they showed had different weather...sunny and pavement wasn't wet...So anyway, for those who hope to win in the future...it is definitely not live...they certainly make you think it is...the excitement of thinking we had a chance was quite intense...my daughter is convinced that we will never have a chance again...but we will try again next time!
