About a month ago I was walking out to my parking lot when one of these low flyover practice run occurred. It scared the crap out of me. I didn't know if they were going to bomb me, fly into the stadium or what. I was not amused.

They're in a big hurry to rebuild city offices, but not enough justification for buyouts....I'm not even a flood victim and it makes me angry.

I had a lawyer for my child custody battle, but after she sucked $2000. she didn't even have a plan. I thought that's what we hire them for-to help, not to just help themselves to the money.
As I closed my file with her, I asked if she would do it pro-bono, but she was more concerned with the finances of a new office and her answer was no.
I sometimes think that lawyers decide ahead of time who's going to win in family court.

The truth is that the only hours they were available at the time of life I needed it were very limited, in the evenings, you had to wait a long time to be seen. At this time of my life I had small children under school age, and to work during this time of my life, when my husband was always gone driving semi, would have taken my whole paycheck to pay for day care. No one is taking anyone's money to pay for it, you give on your own free will, and I am truly appreciative of those who gave and still give to those who are in need of these services.

This article does not raise questions. The free clinic is run by donations and volunteers. There is not adequate healthcare options for people with low income or with no insurance.
I am pleased to see that the Iowa City Free Clinic has a permanent home, because I used to have to use their services myself. Now that I have my own insurance, I don't need to use their services, but I know that there are plenty of people that do.
