Healthcare reform is the law of the land! Thank goodness for that! We are now liberated from the tyranny of big insurance!

Meanwhile, I encourage everyone to read this Open Letter to Conservatives. It does a TREMENDOUS job of calling out the "right" wing. It is a must-read!

Obama is President, and healthcare reform is the law of the land. Get over it!

This is a great day for America and for freedom! President Obama and the Democrats (well, most of them anyway) have achieved a great victory for the ideals of freedom from want and freedom from fear!

We are truly a better nation today thanks to our President and his decisive leadership! God Bless America!

Higher taxes = fewer convicts on the streets.

All this Granholm-bashing, and yet no blame for Mike Bishop and his far-right cronies for doing nothing but whining?

I wonder if conservatives will accuse Hoekstra of treason? After all, here he is, criticizing a commander-in-chief during a time of war - something which many conservatives likened to treason during the Bush era.

I don't think Hoekstra has committed treason, even though this was a bad move on his part. But I do wonder when conservatives will accuse him of such.

How on earth is the CMU story anywhere near the Top 10 - much less #2?? There must have been a lot of people from outside the area giving it attention - they want to show support for those poor, beleaguered heterosexuals whose special rights to marriage are just not helping them get ahead in this world where those non-heterosexuals are finally starting to do well!

Can I also note that WOOD hardly ever mentions CMU (even though, I've heard, you can watch WOODTV from on CMU's campus)? Only when something bad happens with CMU...

Enough of the union-bashing. Thanks to those unions, our standard of living is higher, workers are safer, and goodness knows how many people's lives have been saved. Thank goodness for unions!

(I realize that religion and government ought not be entangled with each other too much. Still, I hope you'll oblige.)

As a Christian I feel that God has called upon us to treat all of His people with respect. There is no biblical justification for intolerance and disdain for God's people. None.
