My child came home from school saying that they learned to cough and sneeze into their elbow with Germy Wormie, and I was totally taken aback. I always covered with my hands. But I went to the website and now I get it, hands touch, elbows don't!! Kids can touch 300 surfaces in 1/2 hour and they hate to wash their hands. This is a simple thing that can make a huge difference. Also, there is a DVD the kids love, and it teaches them in a fun way other necessary hygiene habits, as well as the elbow cough.

The importance of effective hygiene methods cannot be emphasized enough, especially with our young children. And a vaccination is not required.

I just found this video on You Tube that really shows how germs and viruses spread. It is so cool. It's meant for kids but I even learned a lot!

Concerned about the Swine Flu and your Kids? As Swine Flu is spread by human to human contact, and children are the # 1 spreaders of germs, it becomes imperative to educate children on how germs are spread. Young children don't spread germs because they want to, they don't know how NOT to. Germy Wormy Germ Smart for Kids educates and entertains kids while teaching them how to NOT spread germs. Please pass along to anyone who has young children and is concerned about the spread of the Swine Flu: http://www.germywormy.com

Besides effective handwashing, my daughter learned in a fun and effective way to cough into her sleeve at daycare with this great mom-invented and drug-free program: Germy Wormy Germ Awareness for Germ Transportation Vehicles, ages 2 - 7. It works really well to teach and help prevent kids from both avoiding AND spreading germs. We don’t play the “pass the germs” game anymore. Here's to our kids missing less school and us missing less work!

Here is another tip since the flu season is here, and germs abound! There is a great game out there to teach young children, and that is Germy Wormy Germ Awareness for Germ Transportation Vehicles ages 2 –7! It is a mom-invented, safe and drug-free for them to learn how to both avoid and keep from spreading germs around. Since my child learned it, we no longer play the "pass the germs" game!

This flu season, stop kids from getting you and everyone else sick! Check out this new program: Germy Wormy Germ Awareness for Germ Vehicles ages 2 - 7. It was taught in my child's preschool, and it works really well! The kids understand the concept of germs and how not to spread them.
