I remember when I was a child in France and Belgium on holiday back in the late 80's and there were sweet machines, Coke vending machine etc on the street unguarded, not chained etc- not a touch of graffiti or vandalism or the like etc - and in my infant naivety I asked my then older teenage brother, 'why do we not have that kind of thing back home' and his words never rang any truer back then than they do now - he said ' because they (people) would take the p*ss and they would be wrecked in an instance'. This just goes to show the society NI is - can't have nothing of worth before it's vandalised.

There's only one solution - open the floodgates and get as many diverse people into this little sh*thole so that hopefully the next generation can live in tolerance and respect for one and other and learn to live in a normal society without so much hatred and bitterness running in the blood.
Seriously though - NI really needs to get it's act together - some very small minded people living here - shameful.

Coming into the Spring Madness it seems - properties that have been on the market for a number of years are being re-listed with £10 or £20k added to their previous advertised prices - thank goodness for the internet that you can keep track of the manipulative delusional mindsets that are still out there. Amazing.

From my observations asking house prices that are set by the vendors or Estate Agents are still way over priced in many areas. Once 3 bed-semis are give or take £70k and 4 bed detached hit £120K as an average then the market will be corrected until then I will not be making any plans to purchase in NI - once bitten, twice shy and all that.

Let me tell you a little secret to the people who erects these flags - I have met serving and ex-serving Paras and the majority of them (not all) are so unattached between the divide in Northern Ireland - that a Protestant Northern Irish person is the same as a Catholic Northern Irish person as well as a Ethnic Minority Northern Irish person - therefore you're a 'Paddy' to them, plain and simple, doesn't matter how in depth you want to go into detailing every little aspect. So trust me to those who erect these flags - you're not doing anyone any favours as they see the Unionist community in the exact same way as the rest of the country - with absolute no difference.
