I didn't defend it. I simply stated it was "common". No cousin marriages in my family. We're in the 80% category.

Approximately 20% of the world's marriages are between first cousins. That is, well, common.Parts of the ME are way behind 100 years. Some are modern. Just like some parts of this country and parts of Europe are behind - I certainly don't defend rape. Anyone who does condones a backwards value system. How does marrying cousins turn into a discussion about rape?

Besides, you went from talking about the idea that dudes from the ME could rape and pillage chidlren with no consequences and linking it to the totally different situation of this rich royal brat who thinks it is okay to kill people because of his social position. Gay has nothing to do with it. He is a monster. I hope the UK throws the book at him. Your mind connected the two and they are not connected. When I was in Morocco, I saw normal families all the time. Even in the villages. True, it is different from the big cities, but things are changing. The country's king is actually trying real hard to pull it into the 21st century giving women rights unseen in other parts of that region. Instead of blasting them all with your tongue, you should be encouraging the progress of backwards cultures. It is all a matter of time. All things move forward. Just think about it - 60 years ago -we had segregation. Sigh - now go ahead a blast me with all your nasty words and intellect and worldly experience.

Nice Squiggy. Some parts of Baghdad are like a village. Sadr City - Fallujah. I'm none of the things you call me, but it doesn't matter. I love this country so much I chose it as my home and the land where my children were born. Perhaps you could learn more if you spoke to more people from there (Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran). Try it.

Only in the frickin villages. Shocking that they have rednecks too. This is backwards culture stuff big time. All I'm saying, is don't apply it to everyone who is from that part of the world. Would like like it if other people in the world just assumed that we live just like the idiots in Hollywood, with no morals and no brains? Normal people don't make the news. You'll never hear about a normal family over there. Food for thought.

Two of your references indicated that GLBT DV and Straight DV rates are the same. THe first reference is unadmissable as it is too biased and can't be considered reliable.

It is common in the world period. It was extremely common in Europe, especially the wealthy, until just up to a 100 years ago. But, let's continue bashing Islam and the ME.

Not funny. How would you feel if everyone knew how small your penis really was?

Likely. Sad, but likely.

This guy is a sicko period. He is enabled by his wealth and family. It has nothing to do with Islam, homosexuality, or pedophelia. BTW - typically only the most uneducated poor marry girls off so young. Child molesters are treated worse in the ME than here. There is no jail for them - they simply lose their heads, which frankly, should be our policy as well.

You are not an ME law expert. Stop pretending to do so.
