Cain is not extreme, and his consise comments cannot be dismissed as pandering to the 'Tea Party' . In their own words, union leaders state as much. http://bit.ly/hvy6gv There are others that have the same goals- Soros & co. for example. In their own words.
What does it take for a liberal to 'own' the friends they make?

Show me a country where people are being 'indoctrinated' by Christianity. It isn't happening. Expressing your belief is not the same as indoctrination. Just because you don't want to hear it, does not make it 'indoctrination'. Indoctrination implies some sort of authoritative pressure to follow the beliefs. The governments force secularism in the work place and public spaces. They are working on applying their indoctrination in private spaces as well. Using public money to force the privatization of religion is counter freedom of religion and freedom of speech. Gov't has decided that there are certain things they don't want to hear and see, which include anything that does not support the current accepted 'lifestyle' apologetics. They do not want people to be free to counter the 'lifestyle apologetics our children are being indoctrinated by in public schools, and are trying to force private schools , and even religious schools to comply with (in some countries - Britain comes to mind).

Baptism involves God. It can't be 'un-done'. The record is just that. A record that it happened. It can't be 'undone' either. Renouncing is a different matter. Everyone has freedom to renounce God. I wouldn't advise it, but God gives us that choice.

So we should not send kids to school until they are 18. don't teach history or literature. Don't let them watch movies or read books or news. All of these things, especially a families own religious and other traditions, inform a child's experiences. You believe they should be kept at 'empty' until 18?
If a child has tradition to compare his own experiences to , when he has developed ability to reason, (assuming that happens - not automatic in today's education) he will accept or reject on his own terms. If he does not develop reasoning abilities, he must reject everything outright or accept everything as a 'fanatic'. I wonder whether these 'de-baptizers' are using reason, rejection, or fanaticism...?

You seem somewhat hostile to freedom of speech and religion. Are you offended by someone else beliveing and espousing the Bible? In what way does this make you feel threatened?

To decry abuse is not abusive.
