thanks! lex, i normally hate strapless dresses, so I put the straps that came along with it and they actually fit suprisingly well for those "detatachable straps." give it a try! :)

ugh. $300 for that dress is overkill - especially since the margins on it are already very high when it's an in-house brand. I don't think i've ever seen a maeve dress for $300! I love it, but will not pay $300 for it.

LOL...very true.

I am glad and willing to pay full price now if i see anything I like (like the bike lane dress - I altered it too) since the rest of it is so ugly, I'm almost excited to find something from anthro these days that I like. :) Maybe that's the strategy behind all the blah (not really).
