Absinthe tells me I'm already jailbroken, but the cydia logo is simply a white box with no functionality. I think I'll restore again and try absinth instead of Redsn0w.?

There is a T-Mobile Sim in the phone and it still shows no service. Perhaps I should take it up to Apple (or to AT&T/ T-Mobile?)

that's what I am to understand, does it matter which IPSW build I did? (206 v 208?)

OK. 'Restored' with 9B208 Build. Set up as new phone, iTunes says it's 'unlocked'.
Should I Redsn0w it again but where does this 'factory(?) unlock happen?
Again remember, AT&T released the IEMI for this phone so it should be 'unlocked' and I should be able to use t-Mobile in this phone, correct?

I am restoring again via iTunes. Not sure how to point the restoring upload to the downloaded IPSW file. It's doing it automatically (I'm on Win Vista) Do I do this with Redsn0w afterwards?

I downloaded the 9B206 version (had the 208)
Received
Error in redsn0w from a restore ISPW to be restored action ..."Need to 'stitch' your blobs into ISPWs of older devices." (for an iPhone 4?) Is there a step by step for where I'm at now?

Not done this but will try. Is this a file saved in iTunes?
