The SSA will actually be sponsoring David Niose, the American Humanist Association President, not just the Idaho Humanist President. Although if it wasn't for the Idaho Humanists we'd of course never have gotten this opportunity.

Mormon missionaries are not very good examples of people doing 'good works.' True, they serve for two years (usually paid for by themselves or their families) but all they do during that time is try to convert more people to Mormonism. Community service and the like is generally not promoted since it takes time away from preaching the gospel.
