Thanks for the read, Allan. This was actually the second episode in this series. I suppose I have to a better way to let first time readers know that. Another point is that I have moved this blog over to WordPress. The new address is http://www.informationhighwaycardandgiftshop.com
Hope you come over.

Hi Steven,
I write serial fiction in my blog. The first one was a six parter called MURDER IN THE VILLAGE ON THE EDGE OF THE SEA. The characters in my stories are dovetailed from one to another. If you have time for some recreational reading, look in the archives. The second series was titled THE CADDY MURDERS. This post is the beginning of the third series. Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Alan,

Thanks for stopping by. I don't think anyone guessed the ending ahead of time. Maybe you'll be the first. Have fun!

Hi Gibson,

A very informative post today. As you can see, sometimes I emphasize my core products on my blog. However, usually my content is focused on anecdotes and fiction, with the commercial message being a small part of the post. I feel this gives the reader something and gives me the opportunity to sell my products. At least I don't have a commercial every other work, like TV. So, I don't feel bad if I link to my blog in a pst on FB or Twitter, because I'm not just selling, I'm providing an enjoyable experience about myself, or the characters in my fiction. I agree for the most part about pure classified ads. I don't think they would work very well, anyhow, if you're trying to sell something. People have to trust you first, before they pull out their credit cards. So, providing quality content and branding yourself is the process mere mortals have to go through.

Thanks, Barbara. I have to be a little creative because my posts have nothing to do with my core product. I'm not an expert on marketing, or SEO, so this is my way of presenting. Sort of like a TV show.

Hi Gordon,

Merry Christmas!

I think life is sprinkled with people who are moved by the Spirit of God, people who live to give instead of giving to live. Sometimes it seems they show up at the time when you need them the most and do things that a far above the call of duty. I'm fairly sure they aren't transported by a sleigh and reindeer, but that makes the miracle even better, doesn't it?
