After my post above, contacted my "pool boy" (always wanted to say that, lol), actually the owner of my pool cleaning company, who is meeting with me on Wednesday morning to discuss my redesigning his Google PPC campaign, as barter to repair my pool pump that just crashed.
I am in intense education mode on the PPC aspect, as although I have had good success as an offline business marketing consultant, have never actually managed an existing campaign in this niche. He has been having fairly good success, but ran into some issues with Google because of some of his ads leading to 404 pages, etc. (So, my suggestion to take over his campaign was perfect timing). Would love to have your professional input/suggestions.
Would have loved to pick up WP Lead Gorilla (LOVE the stunning visual background effects), but unfortunately my dear "other mother" aunt was in her last stages of cancer during the sale of it, so my focus was elsewhere and wasn't able to purchase. With all the brilliance out there, hope to be able to access a similar tool at a value soon!
Thanks for leading the charge, guys!

Hi Ted,
Having had the joy to travel and lecture in Australia and New Zealand a few years back, I have a deep passion for the beauty of your country. I must say I have thoroughly enjoyed your thoughtful comments and zest for life in your posts. I, too, emphatically believe in the "power of the people" and have worked to do my part to ensure the overlooked segments of society are adequately represented.

Thanks for taking the time to contribute, and I look forward to hearing of your successes with your ecological venture. Have you set up non-profit status yet, or is that still an avenue you are considering?

Wow! What an amazing blast from the past!! Time traveled back to the early eighties when Wayne Dyer had hair (LOL) and I had the first chance to learn that "should" was serving no positive purpose in my vocabulary. Your Erroneous Zones was a seminal work for me, that empowered me to eventually have the courage to release my mother (a wonderful woman, but a stereotypical matriarch attached to "guilting" ;-) and move into a much healthier relationship. When she commented, during a time of great pain over a mistake I had made that grieved her (divorce) "How could you do this to me?!" I was able to respond, "Mom, I love you, but I didn't do this TO YOU. I just made a mistake, and I'm learning." Simple, yet profound shift in my life.

Speaking of The Shift, that is the title of Wayne's new book, subtitled "Taking Your Life from Ambition To Meaning". Given my business passion of Partnering With Purpose, Wayne's wisdom is very timely, as he explores in the book (and included DVD) how to move towards the afternoon of life, focused on giving back and serving. As Brian says, a much more "spirit-filled" tone than Dyer's previous confrontational style, but both very influential and full of truth.

My biggest take away for today is to consistently work to stay in action mode in my contribution to the planet, and when I stumble in my less than perfect way, to smile on my foible with "intelligent regret" and "decide to do things differently"...the new and improved, "learning Lory" style...the next time!

Hello Vishen and fellow FinerMinds! What a delight to be part of such a proactive crowd!!
Just a bit of housecleaning, so that I may more effectively participate...I did send a request directly to Cecilia, Assistant Philosopher, and she was very efficient and helpful in her response--Thank you! Also dropped a quick note of gratitude to Brian and he was quick to give love and attention back--you rock, Brian!!
However, there are still a few holes in my understanding, so wanted to get your direction. Although I purchased the notes for myself and a friend, I have not been receiving any email notifications regarding the challenge, e.g. which books to read, etc. I have now signed up for Intense Debate, per Cecilia's directions, but still don't have the information from you to address the 4 steps above, e.g. connecting on Facebook. I am only able to read the books after the fact, when I search your blog and see the titles.
I already have a Gratitude Log account...which is how I learned of your amazing team to begin with! Thanks for your expanded thinking to include outside Finer Minds in your crowd, much appreciated.
So...just wanted you to be aware, in case other eager life students might be panting on the sidelines, ready to join in, and yet not sure which door to enter to gain access. If you could please advise, so I may be fully engaged, and also so I may make sure my gift recipient is getting full access as well.
Look forward to changing the world with you all, to the greater good!
