Yes, we didn't get the Summer Olympics here in Chicago in 2016, and it's Bush's fault. Never mind the fact that the Olympics have never been hosted in South America. Never mind the fact that Rio de Janeiro is an absolutely beautiful city in summer.
These are the same people who cried at the election over the historic nomination, and then presidency of the nation's first black president, but are too arrogant to concede that holding the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro is both historic, and holding to the Olympics overall ideal - bringing the world together through friendly competition. We've held both the Summer and Winter Olympics several times, and North American alone has held the Games twelve out of fifty-one times, for nearly a 25% rate.
The Democrats like to blame Bush for destroying the World's view of the U.S. For making us seem like an arrogant, self-serving, selfish country who can't and won't share with the world. They need to take a look in the Hypocrite's Mirror. Rio de Janeiro, I salute you.
