What a farce this is! These occurrences won't stop just yet. The robbers keep robbing and we keep "donating" . Making a joke of any legal system and the the meaning of custodianship! Who the hell they think they are giving other people's money away for lives at stake without the permission of the gatherers. They think money comes from the heavens?? If not for the admission by one of the relatives that money was paid over, none of this shenanigans would have been made known. Now that's the govt for you!!!
I would think this car shouldn't be showcased as representation of comfort but rather of protection for a leader from a developed and economically advanced nation. We don't need extravagance to justify our status.
Now, seriously??? You fight bad feng shui with good feng shui I would think, so having a funeral ceremony to me does not sound rational. Anyway, Its better if some politicians shut themselves out of this mess before it gets too absurd. I would prefer that CM comes clean in the first place and endear most Pgnites to him by being upfront as we are not angels ourselves when it comes down to the "dollars & cents" in business dealings. Only thing is that we have a high profile personality on display here and a State opposition group baying for blood at any opportunity. So come on CM, be frank!
I fail to understand why we cannot provide a breakdown in terms of gender, age and racial mix to provide better understanding of this situation. Providing a figure such as the % of total (working maybe??) population isn't a good measure when in unit terms might be so small as compared to China.
Work related immigration is necessitated by an obvious reason, but are there other justifiable grounds for immigrating and if so, why not categorise accordingly?
I guess the saying " Birds of a feather flock together" makes sense even in a derogatory manner. These ones are of the same breed and presently their party 'line" is you join them or leave them. How many at their top positions will they keep on sacking I wonder before the hatchet falls to the other side.
Its a reality that no one wants to do a dirty job and worse still if the salary is meager. See who are working as bus drivers and the like in UK.
Unless a master restructuring employment scheme gets moving , we can always blame this on our local youths all we want. Its the work of govt and the private sector to strategize and get M'sia out our over-dependence on low cost manufacturing and improve our educational standards into the 21st Century. Pointing the finger at them will not help.
What's been said has been said over 6 months ago. This is how the political cum business cum economic affairs has been carried out. It will be highly impressive of these so called " rating agencies" if they put their words to their deeds. I can see no further outcome from their comments any further. If we had acted with impunity from overseas organisations for so long, I doubt on any further such impact.
We are worse than animals.
Every thing want to impose...... its still a few months to April 2015 and the number of items which are for the benefit of all its citizens and the general public are also subjected to GST keeps on increasing. GST is suppose to be a consumption tax.. and is progressive , the more you spent, the more you pay, yet in this instance, public transportation should be exempt as it serves everyone. The Penang Bridge is for all and not merely to Penangites.
The Malaysian contingent got caught with their pants down - that's it. Nothing more. So pay the price. If he gets a reduced penalty well and good, if not say bye bye to his playing career which anyway seemed to be at its tail end.
