If it was alcohol free, why was the face painting clown wearing a "Drinking Age Verified" bracelet? Was that a joke? LOL

Ms Fissinger is not representative of the "average voter"...she's a grandstander and promoter of a partisan agenda and attacks anyone who isn't. She says it like it is according to her party perception, but the average voter would most likely not be amused by her wasting their taxpayer dollars.

And the general public needs to know this why again? She had two daughters, who may not have wanted this publicly known to a bunch of online readers. You could have written "foul play is not suspected" if the intent was to give relief to the public knowing there wasn't a murderer out there.

Spray god-da*nit. This is so fricken ridiculous to subject the entire population of Longmont to this risk because a few environmentalists think it's bad for them. If they are at Jim Hamm...they are elsewhere in Longmont. Not every area is tested and many communities in town have open spaces that collect water.

Writing Sarah's campaign speech for re-election already Duane? LOL

Sarah may be "book smart"...but she's pound foolish. She has cost the taxpayers THOUSANDS of dollars.

The only votes taken by council were to sign off on an endorsement to place Sarah Levison's name on the ballot (of which Mayor Baum voted "nay" twice on and has held firm with his reasons as to why.)

She still had to get enough votes from all the cities who cast votes to win a position. Sounds like they (as well as our mayor) thought four others were more deserving.

According to the article, Sarah Levison came in fifth. Guess she wasn't as popular there as she thought. The way she talked about this during council gave the impression that CML was excited to have her join them.

As for the link to the article by takenote commenter Kaye Fissinger of FRL, your well placed insider was obviously Sean McCoy, who appears to have ran kicking and screaming to the Ledger and your delusional wannabe media site. I agree with seeandavoid, Councilmember McCoy needs to be censured for his inappropriate behavior as noted in the article.

Regardless of Mayor Baum's vote, Sarah Levison wouldn't have been elected regardless. It also was not in Longmont's best interest to have a partisan leaning official like herself representing Longmont's best interests on a non-partisan board like CML.

Shari Malloy is promoting the agenda of her political party. Shows up with them as a group at council meetings, filed frivilous complaints against registered republicans during a non partisan election, never asks a Republican to sign the Clean Campaigns petition, and gets up and criticizes the elected officials who are not of her particular political party.

FYI McSOREly...I object to the partisan nature of this charade. Keep campaigns clean, but keep the bitter partisanship out of my face.

I'm not crying over the election. The voters spoke. And the leader they elected is sucking the wind out of their victory sails.
