Well, this is just BS! Here's what the last story I read said:

"Holmes bought his first Glock pistol in Aurora, Colo., on May 22. Six days later, he picked up a Remington shotgun in Denver. About two weeks later, he bought a .223 caliber Smith & Wesson rifle in Thornton, Colo., and then a second Glock in Denver on July 6 - 13 days before the shooting, the official said. A high-volume drum magazine was attached to the rifle, an assault weapon, the official said."

What part of these multiple purchases in a very short period of time, plus "assault weapon" could not have been helped by a progressive law. The frank truth is that NOBODY in any other country in the world has the freedom to legally purchase weapons that are only designed to kill large numbers of victims in a short amount of time.

Is it possible that the good Dr and Dr'ess might have had a bit too much medication before they went to bed? Check out the lower right corner from the "queen's" website: http://doreenorion.com/

the teachers and the administrator should take the hit for this, not the presenter. It's his job to "preach" at every opportunity. It's the teacher's job to present unbiased education to the students. If you don't like the job your teachers are doing, take the right steps to educate or get rid of them.

I love seeing these new services. I've made my living for many years from "JUNK MAIL" (We prefer to call it Direct Mail) What makes this kind of marketing work is having the skill and tools to efficiently target exactly the people who are interested in the product I'm selling. I do a better job by having the chronically disinterested out of the way, and I sell more product. The downside is, as Elizabeth mentioned above, that the USPS is receiving an increasingly larger percentage of their revenue from Direct Mail, while first class mail is nearly extinct., as is the PO.

I think that we should fence the parks, install turnstiles, and charge shiny dollar coin to get through. This solves all kinds of problems beside the one discussed in this article. Homeless? buh-bye. Just visiting? Never saw a dollar coin? Charge on the credit card, with a "surcharge". Not to mention :http://www.walletpop.com/2011/06/30/why-is-the-u-s-making-money-nobody-wants/

Not that it has any bearing on Mr Brigham's case, but I'd be very interested in knowing what happened to the "criminals and suspected criminals" that seem to have ignited the confrontation? Were they arrested? Were they ticketed? Or were they being harassed?
