I celebrate Christmas but am not as close to my family as I used to be. We didn't have many traditions growing up so I've just made my own. In early December, I spend the day with my neighbor and her two daughters, baking up all kinds of holiday cookies! Later in the month, I have a bunch of friends over and we watch Elf and Christmas Vacation while eating holiday snacks. On Christmas day, my boyfriend and I exchange gifts then I make the round of phone calls and just relax for the day, listening to Christmas music and watching Love Actually with some eggnog.
