Personally, I haven't had a raise already for going on 3 years due to the economy and my industry, plus our office is now working reduced hours, so I can't feel too sorry for government workers and teachers (who are probably off with pay today). However, it seems that many programs she is cutting are the very ones that she vowed were the most important during the debates with Rossi. Now they aren't so important. Probably if she just did a total 5 or 10% cut across the board, there would be less impact overall. She just wants to prove the point that she should get to raise taxes. I certainly hope the 2% for arts budget got cut to "0.00"

Wonder how the Iranians would like it if we thew shoes at Achmadinajad (or however you pronounce his name). It might be great fun to try!!

From what I've always seen or been told -
A navy pilot would have stayed with the plane and gotten to the empty land beyond the houses before ejecting (or would not have ejected). He was so close to it.
What a tragedy that three innocent people had to die - and this man's life is changed forever.

Somehow, it just appeared that they were connected in this instance. And I didn't say anything about how she looks (specifically), just that she looks (figuratively) like a whack job. Anyone can look like that - and it goes with her whacky looking ornament.

She certainly looks like a whack job, so I'm not suprised at her whacky looking artistic abilities. I'm not surprised that Bagdad Jim found her - and also not surprised that he and his office deny any direct responsibility for her and her "artwork". It's a shame that the representation of our district was so dishonorable.
