*boing* and i don't even have a wiener!
AMEN!! as the lights came up and the credits rolled me and my boyfriend (we both have read the books) just looked at each other and said..."i didn't like it" (compared to the other potters of course)
it had so much potential to be EPIC....it was cute and all..even funny. But as a die hard potter fan, the ending i happened to notice...well....was a little different then the book.
Shyamalan is one of those directors i have to be in the mood to watch. I think his movies appeal to some others are just down right repulsed by his flicks...a lot of ppl hated the "Lady in the Water" i happened to really enjoy that film....i also liked "the village" come to think of it...maybe im just a fan of Bryce Dallas Howard?
the second book was my favorite....the remaining two are going to be a bit of a challenge 2 bring to screen just based off the ludicrousness of the story and effects that it would take to pull them off...especially the final movie.
You and i think a lot alike when it comes to this movie. Although going into this i knew i didn't like the Charlies Angels films, i thought maybe McG had a little more to work with in this one. There were moments, aside from of course the expected "I'll be backs" and "Come with me if you want to lives" that i was left saying "okay um.....wft" All in all i think it was a average film....and i was left walking out of the theater thinking to myself. "Star Trek was better"
