As far as Fuller, I understand why he's angry; he's liberal and he got shot. He made some empty threats, and he got arrested. Those are the facts and events, it doesn't matter what his motives are.
What matters is where he fits in within this dialog about this event. Calling him a 'violent leftist' is the vitrol, is the hypocrisy.

And seriously, enough whining about the injustices of the liberal media. Yes, the media is unfair and bias. Instead of making cheap shots at this liberal kook; show some class.
By attacking this guy by calling him a 'violent leftist' (language I would expect from communist propaganda) you are showing that the Right is no better than the Left. Showing civility proves to the public that this guy is a kook.

Instead of lowering yourself to their level of equal vitrol and hate-mongering, show some class and civility.
Which seems to be too much not just for this site, but also for its commentors here. I've avoided personal attack to anyone here, yet even for all the calls of civil dialog here, I've been told I should be 'shot' in this thread.
That's what you call hypocrisy.

So you're angry that this Eric Fuller made a 'threat' against Humphries , and for myself commenting here, and having a dissenting opinion, that you folks are hoping that I too am "shot"?

What this man is a just a 'liberal kook', but a shooting victim nonetheless. He obviously has enough anger to be shared at the shooter as well as people that ignore what he feels is an important reason he got shot (guns). While I don't agree with his politics, I also know that it doesn't matter what this one individual thinks. It really doesn't matter what he's angry at, he's paying for his 'threats' with his arrest, the issue at hand is what he has become to represent in the larger dialog of these shootings.
You fail to see the hypocrisy of smearing this political nobody as a "violent leftist" and at the same time complaining of the liberal hate-mongering.

Considering the physical state the elderly man is in you can't take the "you're dead" remark anymore serious than if he said "I'll kick your ass". There is no physical way this man posed any threat what so ever. Its not a death threat unless you're complete moron..
The Tea Party has nothing to with it. This isn't the LEFT. This isn't some politician. This isn't some talking head on TV. This is some old liberal vet that got shot and was angry as hell that a politician brushed off the gun-control issue when he was recently shot.

There is no logical way that this man posed any threat to ANYONE, much less a younger able bodied man like Humphries.
He got emotional because when someone he didn't like (Humphries) ignored the gun-control subject when he thought it was purely relevant. He's obviously a liberal being that he was shot at a Democratic congresswoman's meet-and-greet.
Let's not be hypocritical here by illogically villainizing a disabled vet and a shooting victim as a "violent leftist" when we have just admonished the Left for their own illogical villinization of Palin and the RIght.

???
Eric Fuller was one of the victims of the shooting. He was shot in the knee and the back.
"Violent Leftist"?
I don't know about you, but I'd be pretty pissed if I got shot.
