I agree with you, but yet, a problem arises when Christians do not know what they are doing. "My people parish for lack of knowledge." When Cyrus Scofield was writing his new 'Scofield Reference Bible, he was funded by a Samuel Untermyer. Untermyer payed Scofield's rent for twenty years while he wrote 'his' bible. In so doing, he did a grave injustice to God and His Word, and promoted a false doctrine that is promoted today by a vast group of Christians including Pat Robertson, and John Hagee.
