I was really impressed. Not knowing what to expect, I wanted to watch to get a little information and get to know her a little. WOW!!! I don't think McCain could have chosen a better running mate. I really like how she went after the dems, not being timid or uncomfortable. I think the libs are running scared now, not knowing what to do about this woman that is going to eat them up. :-)

Well, who can forget the Food for Oil fiasco with Sadam? The UN is as corrupt as some of the governments of Africa that they are supposed to be helping. It is my understanding that very little of the food slated for the most needy ever gets there. Government, and the UN in particular are rarely the answer to any need.
Yeah, well it is a election year. The problem is, the libs have to make everything sound so much worse than they are, so a democrat can get elected. Then, after they are elected they can say "see, the democrat made the economy better". It is all BS. There is no proof of a recession. There have to be 2 quarters of economic downturn for it to be a recession. We have not even had one yet.
Obama is clueless. How he thought that none of this stuff about him would come out is beyond me. And what is even worse, is how much of the country is eating it up. I can understand the black community supporting him no matter what he is. After all, the OJ trial taught us that guilt means nothing if you have a chance to stick it to the "man". What really disturbs me is the guilt laden whites turning a blind eye just so they can make them feel better about themselves. But then again, that is what white liberal elites do. As long as they feel good about themselves, it doesn't matter who or what they destroy along the way.

Ughhh, we are sometimes our worst enemy. With all the concern over the defecit and taxes, what could possibly be wrong with ending earmarks, not just for a year but indefinately. McCain has never had earmarks, and I think he may just embarass the GOP into ending them, at leas temporarily. One can only hope.

OH RW I sure hope you are right. I just have this idea that people are so dumb these days they will believe anything a politician says. Look at Mayor Barry. Obama would be a disaster for this country. From his Marxist ambitions, to his relationships with suspicious muslim organizations and people. Not that a president can do much damage by himself, but with Pelosi and her ilk in charge of the House and Senate, it could get ugly. But as time goes on, he keeps burying himself. Now if those center left people will wake up, McCain has a shot.
