Your declaration that Israel controls U.S. policy in the Middle East is upside down to the extent that the state of Israel is from the beginning a creation of British-American interventionism for control of the region's mainly energy resources. Therefor, it's misleading to claim Israel is the tail wagging the U.S. dog, when, in fact, the U.S.'s proxy state of Israel is always has been the front line in the U.S. wars of conquest/empire from Lebanon to the Hindu Kush and beyond. That they bicker both inter and intra over stategies is hardly cause for misreading who rules who. Besides, according to the dominant ideology, unless the Jews accept Jesus, they're all going to Hell in a hand basket anyway.
