The can't fire her for the disease, but pretty sure they can fire her for being drunk on the job--I can't think of a single job where they WOULDN'T fire you for being drunk at work.

The ground was unstable? Maybe 31 feet of river water undercut the riverbank 2 years ago and caused the ground to shift...the site was picked before the flood, right? Has a study been done since then? And this site is how close to the river?

Never pull a permit. The first time we pulled a permit to fix up our newly-purchased Time Check house 10 years ago, they immediately hit us with 17 code violations. We knew the house needed work, that's why we bought it. We didn't expect the city to hammer us--and continue to do so--for our entire 10-year stay in Time Check. Never again.
