You sir, do not know what you are talking about.
Basically what you are saying is that you don't understand the culture in The South, the time period, America, conservatives in 2011 or women? or did I miss something?
The posts in the "thread" I mentioned in the above post. Said the theaters in a certain Southern City is packed with blacks and whites and they all stand and applaud at the end of the movie. Now I have to go see it. Is it a reflection of where and when I grew up or is it "pilgram_Shadow" view of the movie, or both?
I haven't read the book or seen the movie yet. I grew up in the South and although we didn't have a maid to help us or raise me, I knew a lot of people who did. I'm part of a facebook group that has a very long thread about the "maid" that raised them.
The reason the movie doesn't explain how these white children grew up to be racist is they didn't. They might have been brought up as Class-ists but not racists. Most of those children fought for civil rights and are offended every time they are called racists.
There are standards of practice for Drs and RN's. They need to be reported. The teachers are now teaching bad math, bad economics, bad government, lying Cheating and fraud.
Its wrong.Whether the government agency will follow up on these infractions or whether the school system will deal with the teachers and students is questionable. That is my point.
I expect the licensing department of Wisconsin State Government to be flooded with calls for the revocation of the licenses of all nurses and Drs that commented malpractice in writing those fake notes. I expect any teacher that comments fraud by turning in one of those notes to be terminated immediately. I expect any child that turns in one of the fake notes to be suspended or expelled. We will see this week what happens.
I don't begrudge anyone salary, but State/Federal employees (I hate term "worker"..sounds commie) have to understand their salary comes from tax payers. If the people aren't making money, they don't as pay much in taxes. Everyone's level of life style goes down. Wisconsin's state employees don't think they should share in the pain. What we have found out from their temper tantrum is an interesting fact.
The pension program they have is this... for every dollar they contribute, the state matches $57. Thats right Fifty Seven dollar Match. Are YOU KIDDING ME???? who in the private sector gets that?
I dare another Democrat to say Republicans are greedy.
