Where did you get that info about 'the average HGTV viewer' ? Is it your guess? Because most people I know who watch HGTV are not either of the types you describe. My family and friends who watch are like me, wanting to get ideas to repair, remodel and update their homes so they can do it themselves to save money.

How else are we supposed to take your posts other than literally? Do you not actually mean what you post? Or is this opposite day?

Frank Fontana is great! As you point out HGTV has lots of straight, regular guy types. Antonio's loud, abrasive personality reminds me of Steve Watson.

hurk, why would anyone think that a "dude who looks like the bassist in a rockabilly band" couldn't design a space? Only someone who has either been very sheltered, or who judges people based on looks alone, would be surprised that Antonio could be a designer. There is no one way that interior designers look like.

He wouldn't. He's a white guy who some people think is "diverse" just cuz he has tattoos. Half of America has a tattoo.

Antonio doesn't work on DoaD. He lists that and Devine Design as his favorite HGTV shows.

That's not Dan's site. Some blogger posted pictures of Dan on there because he says Dan is his favorite DS contestant. The blogger also posts pictures of some other HGTV dude saying he's his favorite HGTV guy. So what?
