The most disgusting part of it all is that she is able to keep the 3+ million she had in her re-election coffers to spend as she sees fit. Its her personal money now.

How exactly does Alabama have jurisdiction to try a man who has already done his prison time for the offense? Aside from the double jeopardy arguments, exactly how are they able to try someone for a crime committed in Australian waters? I find what he did to be completely deplorable, and in fact, I think Australia should have exacted a much higher price from him, but I simply cannot see how the state of Alabama has any right to go after him. I doubt, under the circumstances that any insurance company would pay any claim to him, and would force him to sue them, at which point a jury would throw out his claim pretty quickly.

The fourteenth amendment guarantees equal treatment under the law. If I'm ever on a jury for an insider trading case the guy walks due to the fact that congress isn't subject to current insider trading laws. Jury nullification, pure and simple. If I was a defense lawyer defending someone for this, I'd raise this argument in my closing statement, or at least allude to it, as much as a judge would let you get away with. No law should be valid, that congress is not subject to. I guess that makes me an official member of the sovereign citizens club.

About half of what Ron Paul says makes sense, and the other half is so detached from reality that he is indeed, a danger to himself and this country. Mainly my differences relate to his pacifist, isolationist policies. We no longer live in the times where we could be protected by two oceans, and could let the rest of the world kill each other. World war 2's extremes, according to most experts, could have been minimized by proper intervention, or the threat thereof, at the proper time. For all you Paul-heads, you can attempt to dissect my opinion, in your lawyerly ways, but it won't change my thoughts on the danger I believe Paul represents to our country. We tried pacifism and isolationism during World wars 1 and 2.

As I recall, it was an even more slimy arrangement than the simple description you've given. As I understood it, a business insider sold him some land at well below cost, and he used his political clout to have the environmental regulations relaxed and also he was able to steer the highway into coming through the particular area where he had land. The height of chutzpah. He was re-elected after it all became public, so the citizens of Nevada who re-elected this slime ball have no right to ever complain about corruption in congress, as they were willing accomplices. To those of you who voted against this slime ball, you have every right to complain about the corruption.

There's virtually no way to enforce them not using insider information, unless they all put their investments into truly blind trusts. Then, should they be caught doing or participating in any kind of business transaction, they should automatically be removed from congress and their investments are subject to seizure, after a due process hearing.

How about, if I were a terrorist and I wanted to communicate with my brethren, that I'd not use twitter, or any other social media, given how we know they're working on being able to read and decipher it in real time. I think I'd open a hotmail account, and write my message, and save it as a draft. My compatriots would simply know the login/password for the email account, and could read the draft, without it ever, theoretically crossing the internet.

There are many other ways, some more sophisticated, but you get the idea. Its hard to keep up with these snakes, and you essentially have to predict, ahead of time, how they'll communicate so that you can be ready to intercept it.

The criminality of this government from Obamao on down through Holder, and lower are not eligible for immunity even if Obamao grants everyone a blanket pardon. The reason being, is if Arizona brings charges, it is a state charge, over which the president has no jurisdiction. The first place I'd start looking, is at the Attorney General Cunningham who plead the fifth amendment. It would seem as if he's being offered a new job, to take the heat for the lie Holder told, and that there's a cover-up underway, orchestrated by Obamao.
Take a look at the new job he is leaving for. Get his new firm to answer some questions, such as:

Did the Obama administration have any communication with Cunninghams new employer, and what was the nature of any communications.

Its pretty obvious that a cover-up is underway, and once people start realizing they can go to jail for a long time, for conspiracy and obstruction, they will begin to talk to prosecutors. It can't hurt looking into the connection.

They would have us believe it is so complicated and that they must take time to "weigh" the pros and cons. Horse hockey, two simple words: "Blind Trust" once you enter service, and you can cash out when you leave. Not only are these cretins getting the huge benefit of insider trading, but when they call their broker to take a position, their broker also knows something is up, and more than likely lets his "preferred" clients know that Congressman John Doe just bought 10,000 shares of company x. Not to hard to figure out that there are far more than just these congressmen feeding at this trough. Its long past time to make them accountable to all the laws, that we the common folk are governed by.

The Chinese need us, more than we need them. Look at all the money we owe them. The old adage about owing the bank a thousand dollars and the bank owns you, but if you owe the bank a million, you own them, strikes true.
