The only thing definitively, physically permanent is death. We cannot know today whether the change is permanent because the answer to that question lies in the future. To say today that something is (or isn't) permanent is to say that the future is known and that just ain't so.

It is pretty bold for these scientists to say that it would be even colder were it not for AGW. How did they test their hypothesis? In what controlled alternate universe did they conduct their experiments on an Earth without people or elevated CO2?
