In reguard to the senior counseling part of this bill, does anyone remember the movie Logan's Run. Hey seniors, time to ride the carousel.

The current administration is re-writing the rules so fast we are barely able to keep up. My country is being put into jeopardy by a socialist, who wants to change the basic tenents upon which America was built. If that is what you want, its your right to believe that way. I just don't see how patriots left of center (yes I believe that Democrats and liberals can be patriots) can stand by and watch the economic policies of socialism destroy our way of life. There is no way to pay for these programs and the government, no matter which party is in charge, is totally incompetent to run any kind of program, like health care. What socialist economy has ever been successful. Let the market find its solutions, let capitalism work and let America be the land of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Congress did vote to go to war in Iraq. I don't know enough about the ABM treaty to comment. I was against the wiretapping of American citizens to a large degree and as for the Geneva convention, the enemy we are fighting didn't sign on to the rules of the Geneva convention. They certainly don't follow the rules, unless the convention exempts beheadings. There was alot of things we "patriots" didn't approve of in the Bush administration. I for one was against the TARP bailout, the way he handled the situation on our southern border, the handling of Compean and Ramos, to name a few.

I understand the site wanting to limit vulgarity. But please, the pc police are going too far when they edit out letters in a word. I saw the word constitution edited 3 different times to cons***ution. Thats just too pc.

I am planning to start mailing the "principals and values" to my senators, every 2 to 3 days. If we all do this, we could make an impact. that could be felt in a matter of weeks. Doing this thru snail mail will do several things. It will generate revenue for our post office. It will keep the senate mailroom busy. It will create a backlog in the mail system and maybe some clerk who has to read them will become a convert. It will hopefully get the attention of our senators and make them aware that not everybody is happy with things as they are. Maybe some of them will read them and begin to think about the message. I know this may seem trivial, but it is something that will have an impact if we make it a point to do it. It is something that we can do now. We are growing in numbers.

I think 13.00 a week is wonderful. Now I can buy 4 Starbucks a month and help to stimulate a struggling business. Economic stimulation at work.. Yea, go America, Go, Obmissiah, go Queen Nancy. America is saved.
