i agree with you in the comparison between nike and adidas, but the topic of slavery is very touchy esp. in america where it was the most abused and fairly recently ended less than 250 documented years isnt alot of time, and also with race issues becoming more defined with martins case, obama, and such, people are becoming more aware of potential racist/bigoted things and race issues will always be around no matter what and this happens with not only slavery nike tried to release a dunk that was insulting to the irish (st pattys day dunk) so they pulled it but in america the most "no-go" situation would be something with race or a bad past
