I am not trying to impune anyone's character. My point is simply that this is another example of too many people not wanting to provide a free gift, but instead expecting something in return...which makes it a paid service. As for the three times a week, that was a one time thing. When one gives whole blood, one cannot give again for about 56 days (to the best of my memory without looking it up). When one does apheresis, the standard is a wait time of 14 days (was when I was able to donate) - time for the body to regenerate the platelets. In my case, my blood antigens were an exact match - like an exact match for a marrow transplant. Therefore, under that specific case, one can give every 48 hours. It was the only time I was exactly matched and was donating for a specific person. Yes. I was fortunate that my work schedule was flexible enough at the time to be able to routinely donate once every 2 - 3 weeks. I just had to make the time up, generally through skipping a few lunches...not really a big deal. The kids were in school so no child care expenses were involved. Thanks for the comment!

The entire thought process here is wrong. Again, people are taking the "what's in it for ME" approach instead of "how can I help someone else". I have been on the donor list for almost 30 years and if I match, I would gladly give. The thought of holding my matching bone marrow hostage for money has never ever crossed my mind until reading this. Frankly, I am disappointed in those that agree with the premise that "I will give if I get paid". For many years, I did apheresis donations (where the blood goes through a dialysis machine and pulls out the components) and it always made me feel very warm and fuzzy knowing I was helping primarily cancer patients. I gave three times in a week to help a 14 year old female leukemia patient. A few weeks later, I found out she passed away and it saddened me. At least I had the opportunity to assist in the slight chance that she could have been saved. I would gladly do it again! Some things are just more important than money!

Going "RED" is a I'll-believe-it-when-I-see-it situation. Right now, I believe voter fraud in favor of the Democrats will be a major issue. How many Al Franken's need to be elected before this situation is dealt with? He was elected via fraud and look what that ONE VOTE did to this country!!!!!!!

Some of us have been expecting this for some time now. It would not surprise me if there was some kinda national emergency in the next few weeks, either. Remember the mantra for this administration is don't let a serious crisis go to waste....even if we have to make the crisis happen ourselves.

I have been predicting for months that the GOP WILL NOT win control of either the US House or the US Senate due to fraud. I hope I am wronger than a 3 dollar bill on this!
