I don't like businesses that can charge my credit card account because I didn't opt-out of something. I also don't like being signed up for a never ending membership that keeps charging my credit card. I would like to have more control on that end. If I don't pay the bill next month, then that means I don't want the service.
In order for the charges to be removed though; you must give the credit card company permission to press criminal charges. So you can't just abuse credit cards by running up a debt and then reporting it as stolen. Someone has to go to a correctional facility in order for the transactions to be successfully removed.

The death penalty is an expensive process for states. If a state is lacking evidence, then an a public defender can stretch the case out a long time costing the state a lot of money. Public defenders are very good at making a case last years. No state in the United States is doing good right now, financial speaking. They are all suffering greatly and are very cautious about who they try to get a death penalty judgment against.
For the record, I don't see the big deal why people hates seeing people go to prison for life. Having those people in prison creates jobs for people that puts money into community so other people can have money to.
I think people believe they earn their money, but they don't. All money originally comes from the government (Treasury) and it gets distributed around.
The government issues money to organizations that conduct scientific research, they hand money to all the government agencies that began with Department of...., they hand money to educational institutions, they hand money to Sodexo, they hand money to companies like Boeing, 50% of a physicians salary comes from Medicare (according to CNN) and that is not even counting how much of their income comes from Medicaid (or the new name for Medicaid now is HealthNet -- Medicaid doesn't exist anymore)
All this money gets spent at retail, fast-food, higher-priced restaurants, convenient store/gas stations, and all though the rest of the service businesses that we have.
Here is my philosophy on what taxes are for. Taxes gives money value. As long as there are taxes, then the Treasury can print money to pay for everything we need.
People talk about inflation causing prices to go up, but as time progresses, prices has to go up. If we didn't print money, then we'd have a surge of people doing without causing the mark-up for those products to skyrocket because the value of those products wouldn't earn as much money at low prices, so the wealthy would be the only one's buying it and companies would began milking wealthy people out of every cent that they had.

They want people that won't raise their hands on any question to both the prosecuting attorney and the defense.

McDonald's keeps your application on file for two months, well they say that.
Anyway, they could have applied already and are just panhandling until they can get a job. Or, they may be applying for disability as an income, or maybe as a way to get help from Vocational Rehabilitation so they can find a job with a vacancy spot for them to fill.
I guess they could be out there to make $100,000+ a year and after their panhandling job, they get into their brand new Lamborghini and drive home to their $1 million home, but I doubt it. Television shows have shown some of those panhandlers making big money, but that is going to be very rare. Just like it is rare for just anyone wake up one day and decide that they want to be a movie star and they become one. The media makes things sounds really big like everyone that panhandles is wealthy and they make it look like all actors and actresses that help produce a what turns out to be a popular movie, rich. But we grow-up and realize the media is there to make things sound bigger than they are.

Very long game! It is so easy to get lost in the city by dating and having sexual relations with a woman name "Michelle". You can go get drunk with your friend Roman and try to drive back to Roman's house without getting caught by the police. After a night of drinking of hard liquor (on a video game), it makes for some "excellent" driving (especially, if the police sees that you are driving while impaired).

You're correct on the suing for injuring someone, but also the law is way more complicated than that. When you look at suing, judgments, and garnishments; you must also look at the debt collection act which states a person must be left with $800 a month after taxes.
So, I say good-luck with the suing, judgments, and garnishments. You break into my house and cause me to feel threatened, then you will be disabled (if not dead, depending on the level of dangers I feel that I am at and how quick I have to react to a dangerous situation). You can try to sue, but there are debt collection laws that protect what itty bitty worthless paper currency that I have.
It would be fun though to watch someone sue me though. I would enjoy it dearly. My favorite part is when they determine how much they can garnish. That would be hilarious.

The federal government, I believe is where everyone would love to work because you know you are getting a paycheck from them, because if they run out of money, they can always print more and pay you with that.
The most secure jobs goes in this order, federal government, corporation jobs (top tiered employees), state government, and small to medium size business that offers some kind of professional trade or service.
Sure a federal government employee could lose there job before a small business employee, because all businesses use the "which one of you is the weakest link that is putting a drag on this company or organization because you lack the skills to stay up with everyone in the organization", but generally a federal employee is considered very safe. They written up articles online and mentioned that the federal government actually is paying more than the private industry. The private industry can't afford to pay, but the federal government can afford to pay higher wages because they can print more and more money.
