Monica, thanks for posting this. Cathy Brennan took down her post bragging about emailing the teens high school so I copiedit from Transgender News and pasted it onto scribe so you can read it on planetransgender.
Like I told the Radfem's before. There's no place to run, no where to hide. Double down on that now that they have resorted to attacking children.

Gay misogynists are cowards and bullies.

Unfortunately we have another battlefield in which we must fight to gain equality, the gay community. Becuse we and most cisgender woman are their only opponents and they have size, numbers and strength on there side we must use class and intelligence as our weapons of choice. In the long run like the minorities who previously struck down vicious monolithic bullies we will be victorious and be remembered and cherished. Maybe not by those same gay misogynist but thats ok because it will unacceptable for them to express there hate. The larger society will deem it so.

As a activist in the Dallas Fort Worth area I thought I had friended or was in the good graces of most f the gay community untill.....the movie TO#WK (ticked off tra##nys with knives) revealed otherwise.

I discovered there were easily 30% of gay men in the area I had never been acquainted with and it made me curious why. As our protest of TO#WK hit the street nationally it became clear to me that countrywide 30% of gay men are misogynist transphobes who delight in antagonizing and humiliating transgender people.

Why do so many gay men hate us so? Many gay men are embarrassed by our externalizing of our femininity authentically, something most gay men only display or admits to jokingly in comical relief (drag queens), For misogynistic gay men our gender expression isn't just distasteful it is a focus of their hate since attacking a far larger symbol of universal misogynist hatred cisgender woman in the same fashion would be committing a social faux pas and to risk ostracizing.

Derrick I was really pissed after our exclusion from DADT and the failure of ENDA, basically ruining our chances for trans equality within my lifetime and I did also did a knee jerk post declaring the that the divorce papers had been served to gay people. Fortunately I was educated by my friends as I am doing here and actually did some research into the root causes of our exclusion.

You would being doing transgender peeps a solid if you would do a post about our petition. Ridding ourselves of the stigma created by being considered mentally ill by the APA is our first step towards equality and being admitted into the US military. (although I despise Bush's legacy of diplomatic murder and really wonder WHY anyone would willingly sign on to any branch right now)

Derrick, do you that Autumn's participation in the DADT protest was as a ally who fully understood her commitment was not going to directly reward transgender people? Derrick you are ether just innocently ignorant or just wanted sensationalism to pump up your readership volume.

Autumn fully understand and advocates for trans equality. Her presence at that protest made the trans community proud and brought recognition to trans peoples as a force to be reckoned with.

But no bad feelings as I am a blogger who also feels the sting of dissension and I fully understand the value of creating controversy, but calling Autumn a Uncle tom's wife is disingenuous at best.

Monica, this critically important for everyone to know. Not only Angie's mother will find this abhorrent but so will the mother of every murdered transgender person.
There has been 160 transgender people murdered since Luna first introduced TO$WK under intense condemnation from the transgender community in 2009.
160 mrdered children that Luna has used as a advertising ploy by placing TO$WK as a tribute, a nomorial to our dead.
