At least 10 hours a week in cold call door to door ministry, or what JWs called "working the territory."
Don't celebrate any holidays but weddings (JW only) and anniversaries.
Attend 5 meetings a week.
Read the Watchtower and Awake along with the New World Translation of the Bible. Don't read any non-JW literature.
I'm sure there's more, but that's all I have time for. :)

I'm so torn about things like this. I love Hawks. They are so graceful and beautiful. They perform a useful function when it comes to critter control. On the other hand titmouses are my favorite birds (along with their cousins the chickadee). I'm glad he had a good lunch, but ah man!

A couple of weeks ago I wrote of an experience I had while at work. It was somewhat of an epiphany.
As I looked at the people around me it was clear that they contained the light of God. They might be "enemies" but they are also brothers and sisters in the most intimate sense of those words.

I have long held the annihilationist view of death and hell. It was a view I was taught as a JW. After leaving the JWs I did research on my own and decided it made the most sense. :)
