Is "blaming" or pointing fingers at anyone a solution? I think the time has passed for that. It is now time to fix it, don't you?
Hmm, was a police officer for a lot of years, paid at much less than $25.00 an hour. Put my life on the line every minute of every day. Seems jobs with hazards are all over the place and many, many people are paid far less than you are, with no guarantee of pension or a 401k. Nor do they have the added benefit of 24 years in the military with that retirement to assist them. If I had your training, education, and experience, then yes, I would be willing. I imagine quite a lot of others would as well, without all the complaining.

What about all the Americans who lost their jobs? Isn't it true that most of them who have been fortunate to find employment are working at up to half their previous hourly wage? Aren't most of the working now for minimum wage or just slightly above that? In this area, that is the case. So, $25 an hour would be a fortune to the folks here. Meanwhile, our elected officials in Washington, with a minimum base pay of $ 174,000.00, make $925.53 a day working 188 days a year !! After 5 years, they are fully vested and we the taxpayers pay them their full wages as retirement !! Sweet deal if you can get it !! Hmmmmmm , could it be they could stand a pay decrease? Those figures do not even include all their benfits and perks.

The last time he said No increase to pay, deception became the name of the game. New "positions & promotions" ( translation -- title changes) were created which allowed pay increases. Will this freeze be a repeat of that? Watch what both hands are doing, not the mouth which decives and obfuscates.
