@Linda - I'm with you. I fell a few weeks ago and the ankle may be broken. I've already decided that even though I can't do everything if it is, I can still be there once a week, so I've made that inner commitment to myself. My being there helps them sure, but it changes my world so unbelievably that I'd be happy enough just to sit with them for a few hours once a week.

Thanks Pickle! I know that feeling. For me it usually comes up as "Dye my hair? Stick my head in the oven?" Both about equal as mood changers. I used to be a talent agent and I told my clients, actors, that if you're good at anything else, you'll never be a success because when things get rough, you'll go to your fall back. I'm starting to see that in myself as well.

Pickle - I can't say I love being vulnerable, but I am at the point where I realize it's the only way I've got to go. The money was the only justification I could come up with for my family, and even then, it wasn't enough. I can't imagine doing the work without the over the top money. Especially today, when there seems to be a lot less freedom in the industry. There is too much stigma in this country to do it and not get paid properly.
