Doesn't Hope have ties to the Snohomish County police and prosecutor's office? If that is so, it seems suspicious that this is coming up now. Don't live in Snohomish but have heard a lot of nice things about Reardon.

Someone seriously running for high office would surely have been vetted by his/her own people. For me the problem is that he has told us so many different stories by now. Between that and the jokes about 'beki-beki-stan' it doesn't seem like he is running a serious campaign. I know the old bit about not being a politician but didn't this story say he had run for office before?
