What a ridiculous, revisionist article. Comparing the Democratic Party of 150, or even 50 years ago to today's is absurd. It's like judging a modern Cadillac's performance by test driving a 1902 runabout. And blaming Rachel Maddow for Rand Paul's oligarchism is like faulting the media for revealing BP's oil spill. Her interview style doesn't make him any less an idiot. Lincoln would weep if he could see today's Republicans.
