I think Quinn's loss was based on a couple of issues, one in particular was that the "Press" was just not that in to her and often looking for her to stumble. NY1, the local news channel often reported her in disparaging terms or references. Obviously not their choice and would say it, whereas De Blassio was. In reality she was the most likely to get things done with Albany where DeBlassio has little chance. The second issue was her lack of reaching out to the other Burroughs. My area, predominately Irish and Latin we saw no contact by her campaign, which was a great loss.

NOM is constantly sending out lies and misinformation, and this just get tiring. Bias would also exist if the Judge Vaughn Walker was Heterosexual. NOM's strategy is to play victim and discredit the true victims .

Activism is the most important thing we can do, and now is the time to do it.. These "anti" groups get me frustrated just as much as those of us who take the back seat, I say we need to put our voices together rather than being so "fragmented"

We all need to have all our Federal, State, and local politicians in our email lists and constantly stay in contact. Meeting them in person, and putting the word out.

HOW UNBELIEVABLE.... She says that she votes "No" because: of the socioeconomic status of black women, that in the the state and that children are being sent to hell in a hand-basket, uses terms "by the same folks" that sound like terms bigots use.... sounds like great "logic".... that is if you can understand a word she is trying to say....

Lets just call it what it is.... "bigotry". Civil rights are Civil rights. She doesn't own the historical significance of the civil rights movement, nor does she own any "secret" bits of information that the rest of us are unable to "grasp" Bayard Rustin, Im sure would be able to enlighten us for sure..... The "Moral Minority" they save us from ourselves....

Gov. Palin, Gov. Sanford, Sen. Ensign, and Sen. Craig. Who have guided us through the darkness and shown us their leadership. They, through their infinite wisdom say "No" to Same-Sex Marriage because they "believe that honoring the family structure" 1, believe that "I cheated on my wife because of gay marriage" 2 , "believe that gay marriage was a threat to the institution of marriage." 3, and thank goodness for Craig's wide stance on the matter.

These bastions of the Republican Party have shown us the example of true Christian Family Values.... and that "gay marriage will start us down the slippery slope 'to the' destruction of the family" 4 ? So how could Same-Sex marriage be worse?
